how to judge effort?

how to judge who put in more effort?

  1. You can't judge effort by comparing those two I guess. But I'd put it on a scale and compare to those I see as more "similar" to each situation and try to make a judgement based on that. :) So I'd think, is that biggest loser putting as much effort as others trying to lose weight like that? Is Rocky putting as much effort in his training as another like him would? If both are yes, I'd judge both as having awesome effort. But I won't say one has put in more effort than the other by directly comparing the two. Perhaps, if I see one as below the norm for his situation, the other above for his, then yes.

    it is really subjective :)

of course, there are clear card cases where little or no effort is put it.
